Partying hard at Harlem’s cultural hotspot

Studio Nataal shook up Frieze Week NYC with a roadblock party at The Africa Center. This important cultural institution opened its doors to special guests who were treated to a digital art display, a short film programme and music from Young Paris, Owo and DJ AQ.

The event previewed issue two of Nataal magazine and also helped to celebrate the arrival of this newly-opened Museum Mile institution, which for the event had two artists’ work on show, Hank Willis Thomas’ public sculpture, All Power To All People, and Victor Ekpuk’s hand inked, site specific installation, Harlem Sunrise.
